Warrior Ways Design

We expect nothing less than cutting edge design in a Hacksaw Gaming slot as they have quickly developed a reputation for great looking games. The reels are spun in front of various futuristic cityscapes with bright blue and purple lights illuminating a mix of traditional statues and skyscrapers.

Play settings can change from inner-city business districts to smaller high streets and even the bleak underworld of this fictional city. The frame of play remained the same throughout, a traditional stone structure that displays the flags of each clan during play.

Warrior Ways Gameplay

Players can land combinations of up to 5 symbols across a payline, with some decent payouts on offer. Use the grid to trigger bonus features. You can bet between 0.10 and 100.00 per spin in Warrior Ways, with wins calculated as multiplications of your bet.

The symbols in play here include the individual red, blue, green and orange clan flags with the respective clan symbols displayed. These symbols lead to up to 0.5x the stake. The higher value symbols of individual red, blue, green and orange warriors offer a higher payout for combinations up to 5. These symbols can payout up to 1x the stake as the warriors are presented in full battle gear with weapons at the ready.

There is also a Wild symbol during the bonus rounds that can payout up to  50x your stake for five across a pay line (that’s more like it), and 2 Scatter symbols which access the bonus features.

Warrior Ways Bonus Features

The Duel mechanic is the core feature of play; this is triggered when a VS symbol lands between 2 different warrior symbols. The warriors will battle it out with the winner applying a multiplier between 1x and 100x to the play and that clan then claims the losing symbol. The victorious clan’s high-value symbols claim the losing clans’ high symbols, low symbols or both.

There are 2 Bonus games on offer here that are accessed via landing 3 of the Scatter symbols in a single spin. These are:

Clash Bonus

This is where things get interesting…..

First off, the Clash Bonus players are given three spins of a new reel containing only dead symbols, VS symbols and clan multipliers. You will hope to land as many VS and clan multipliers during this feature, with an initial 3 spins reset each time one lands. Multipliers in this feature can value between 2x and 100x the stake displayed above the reel relating to that specific clan.

When no spins are left, the real bonus feature begins; players can play a number of Free Spins based on the number of VS symbols collected beforehand. Each of these Free Spins guarantees a clan Duel during which the collected clan multiplier symbols replace the Duel multipliers of each clan. Did you get that? Don’t worry, it all becomes clear when you are in the game. It’s a neat feature.

Conquest

The Conquest Bonus gives you 10 Free Spins, with an additional Free Spin for every Conquest symbol that lands during play. Clan Duels can occur through the feature; when a clan loses a Duel, their flag is damaged. Once a clan’s flag is damaged, the high and low-value symbols are removed. An extra Free Spin is added to the tally with each clan flag destroyed.
