Club Roulette
Club Roulette
It’s time to put my dinner jacket back on (or tuxedo as we call it Down Under), leave the high limit blackjack tables and head off to the roulette tables. I know I’m playing at home, but it doesn’t feel the same in my pyjamas.
We’re going to be taking a look at Club Roulette from Extreme Live Gaming which is a single-zero European roulette (like this 1X2 roulette but that’s a virtual game) with an added social twist- that’s why it’s called Club Roulette my friends!
Head into the game and you’ll see that you can pick from a selection of 10 avatars. This is the dude or dudess who will be taking your seat at the virtual Club Roulette table! You’ll be able to see what everyone else is betting (you can switch this off if you prefer) and there is a chatting system for messaging the croupier and other players. It’s all very social!
Bet on the inside or outside bets or go more exotic and make a few call bets like Voisins du Zero (I wish you could here my French accent- it’s outrageous)- there’s a handy little racetrack area where you can make these kinds of bets- click on it to enlarge it.
The other thing that is different about Club Roulette is the betting limits which head all the way up to $/€/£ 10,000- this game is a favourite with High Rollers, but you can set your level to suit your style. Only bet what you can afford and keep it fun.
Video Stream
I love the high quality of the video streams on these Extreme Live games who also make other live variants like Dolphin’s Roulette and Book of Ra- it fires off in HD, although if your connection is slow you can always turn the knob down and watch a lower definition- just change the settings. You can also mess around with the feed by turning it on and off, flipping to full screen and adjusting the volume of the audio feed. All good stuff!
Features
If, like me, you like to see what’s come up on the wheel, you just need to monitor the in-game stats for Red/Black, Low/High and Even/Odd numbers, hot and cold numbers plus the results of the last eight spins. You can switch these stats panels on and off if you want. If you are one of those multi-linguists, you can change the user language, and another neat feature is the Favorite Bets tool where you can save custom table lay outs.
Extreme Live Gaming have launched another version of European Roulette called Club Roulette, which is normal roulette with some new innovations around the Social side of playing online.
Summary
If you are feeling sociable, you’ll enjoy Club Roulette. What’s not to like? Place some bets, spin the wheel, have a chin wag with the lovely croupiers (Mrs Wombat loves those black and red cocktail dresses, I’m going to ask them where they got those from the next time I play, her birthday’s coming up) and spy on your fellow players to see what they’re doing!
There’s nothing I like better than finding someone who’s on a winning streak and grabbing on to his or her coat tails! (or finding someone on a bad run and betting the opposite way.
This game looks great on a mobile by the way.
