When this wombat went through a zen phase, we headed to the Shaolin temple in the Henan Province and had a go at being a martial arts monk. It didn’t last long – mainly as those buddhists aren’t big fans of gambling – but I did pick up some odds and sods of enlightenment while I was there.
According to the Chinese Taoist philosophy, there are 5 elements in the universe known as the Wu Xing; Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each element is interconnected and philosophers think when combined these elements explain how the earth works, and even how our bodies operate!

Look and Feel
