What’s the Deal?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent a lot of time in Egypt recently, so I was pretty stoked to discover we’re off to Polynesia in the Tiki Beats slot from Eyecon.

Graphics & Theme

Set on a backdrop of a verdant jungle, your reels are framed in bamboo and flanked by a couple of fellas in scary Tiki masks bangin’ on the drums. It looks warmer than the Arctic Enchantress slot which I have just been spinning!

Cicadas chirp and monkeys howl in the background, and we like how the Tiki reels rearrange themselves on every spin. It’s pretty cool.

The graphics are great for an Eyecon slot, so it’s a double ‘thumbs up’ from us. it’s got that kind of vibe that reminds us of the Lava Lava slot from Thunderkick (more volcanoes in that one though).

The low-paying symbols are made up of the 9, 10, J, Q, K & A from the playing card deck. Meanwhile, the premium icons are Tiki heads in purple, blue, green and red. The fierce red bloke is the highest paying symbol, dishing you out 5000x your bet for five.

Your wild is the golden “WILD’ symbol and there are two scatter symbols on the reels. One is the golden Tiki mask that will set off the Free Spins bonus round, the second is the colourful Tiki chief icon that triggers the Prize Pick.

Toucan Bonus
Now I’m not sure if you know this, but toucans are this Wombat’s favourite bird. But do they live in Polynesia? Or Peru? I have a mate whose nickname is Toucan, but that’s because he can only handle a couple of tinnies.

As the reels spin you’ll see Tiki Torches that light up at the top of the reels. If all of the torches burst in flames at the same time, you’ll set off this base game bonus. A friendly toucan will now fly across your reels offering you five prizes of up to 100x your bet.

Conclusion

We love the look and feel of the Tiki Beats slot, and Eyecon has done a sterling job with the imaginative mix of bonus features too.

Best of all, as it comes with medium volatility, the game will be good for those of you who prefer to spin a bit more on the safe side. And there are not many of those about nowadays…
