Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune
Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune
Rate The Game
The wombat says: Roll up, Roll up! Come and try your luck at NetEnt’s funfair-themed slot Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune. A great little game from the designers of the Wild Wild West slot and other classics.
From the nice simple graphics and easy-to-play interface you might be fooled into thinking this is basic slot.
But fools you would be Wombat fans, as Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune has multi-layered gameplay, and there are so many different ways to win that we don’t even know which one to start with…
It’s a real feel good game -we’d put it in the same category as Sam on the Beach for putting a smile on your face.
Look and Feel
Bright colourful graphics really give the Theme Park Tickets of Fortune slot bags of atmosphere, and the 3D animations are just perfect- they’re not in the same league as the amazing Jungle Spirit slot (also from NetEnt), but then it’s not that kind of game.
From the floating balloons in the background to the merry go-round horse symbol that gallops on the reels. Speaking of which, the reels themselves are at the top of park and surrounded by helterskelters, Big Dippers and Ferris Wheels that all come alive on screen.
Then there’s the soundtrack. From the zooming of the animated Rollercoaster Wild to the ‘ting tings’ of the sideshow bonus games, there’s no doubt you’re in for some theme park fun!
Theme Park Slot Game Play
Rockets, planes, dodgems, swan boats, and merry-go-round ponies make up your symbols on the reels, along with the 10, J, K & A as balloons that are your low value symbols. The slot also has stacked Wilds in the shape of a whizzing rollercoaster that appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 during the base game.
Funfair Features
Classic fairground games make up the 9 (??!!!?) bonuses on offer in this slot and include:
Claw Feature
A big old claw appears randomly anywhere on reel 5 and drops down on the screen. It will grab a toy from underneath your reels give you a cash prize of between 2x and 15x your bet. Nice one.
The Bonus Wheel
The Bonus Wheel can trigger one of the 6 Theme Park Games (more on those later). If the symbol lands on reel 5 a big wheel of fortune appears. Spin the wheel to discover if you’ll receive cash, multipliers or entrance into the Theme Park Games. There is also ticket symbol on the wheel of fortune – land on this and you’ll activate the Ticket Wheel.
The Ticket Wheel
This is a bonus game where you can win Golden Tickets to be spent on any of the 6 different Theme Park slot bonuses. It can be set off by landing 3x the Scatter Ticket symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5, or by picking the ticket symbol on the Bonus Wheel (see above).
The Ticket Wheel has ticket values and additional spins on it, too. You’ll start with 3 spins, but you’ll add more to this as you go along. The aim is to earn as many tickets are possible, these are then used to play in the Theme Park Bonus games. After a bonus is played, you can go back to normal play or have another go if you’ve got enough tickets.
Theme Park Bonuses
Duck Shoot
Shoot at the 5 classic rubber duckies to win cash, and after each shot, the multiplier increases by 1 up to 4x.
Fishing bonus
Pick up the as many little fishies using a fishing rod as you can. Each fish will pay out between 2x and 50x your bet.
Skee Ball bonus:
Ooh we like this one! You start off with 5 balls, throw each one into the the different value holes to win. There’s a 20x stake multiplier here, too…
Can Tower bonus
3 towers of precariously balanced tin cans stand in the way of you and various cash prizes. Hurl the ball hard, and the more cans that fall down, the higher your win!
Sledgehammer bonus:
Smash the hell out of funfair favourite the Strength Tester and win a multiplier of between 1x and 100x
Punch Bag bonus:
This one is pretty simple. Punch the punch as hard as you ruddy can, and it’s more moolah for you.
Conclusion
Great graphics, endless bonus features and some lucrative multiplies. With all this fun at the fair, why bother to leave the house at all? We like!
