Look and Feel

You’ve got Miss Piggy Geishsas, bonsai trees, a sushi hut, saki-swilling Red Pandas, a lucky waving cat, a golden Buddha, a wise old sensei, an angry two-fanged buffalo and our hero, Mr Karate Pig. Even that cunning chap off Foxin’ Wins is looking interested. All these delightful cartoon characters add to the Japanese vibe in this comedy caper slot.

The symbols also have a life of their own on the screen too, as well as their coin value; the Golden Stork flies off the reels, the tipsy Panda blushes, while the eponymous Pig smashes through the Wild using a well-timed karate chop, whenever you get a win. All in all, great graphics and a really fun theme.

Game Play

With 5 reels and 40 paylines bets, start from 0.01 to 0.10 a spin, and your highest paying symbols are the angry Buffalo at 375 coins for 5x, and the smiling Golden Buddha who’ll pay out 250 coins a full 5 on the reels, too. Your Bonus symbols include the Karate Pig Wild, Piggy Scatter Bonus and a Gold Stork Spin Scatter. In the base game it’s all about getting the stacked wilds which will make up your winning payline combos.

Free Spins Feature

Bonus Rounds

Once you’ve completed your round, you’ll receive a karate belt, and when you have all 7 (and you’re a black belt, yeeeaaaahhh), you’ll be able to play the Final Showdown. FYI Wombat fans: your belt level is hung over the left hand corner of the reels.

Final Showdown

You’ve got 3 rounds in which Karate Pig and his hairy opponent must battle to the death. Choose 1 of 2 Karate combinations to defeat your worthy enemy and you’ll progress to the next round, scooping a cheeky win while you’re at it. Once you’ve completed this round, all the belts reset back to white.

Conclusion:

We really love this slot. The animated symbols, the far eastern soundtrack (complete with karate noises), and the unique bonus round levels all make for excellent gameplay. Meanwhile, the Free Spins can really boost your bounty, but you might be waiting a while to collect all 7 Bonus belts…
