The Wombat says: Microgaming and Foxium go together with the Foxpot slot like gin and tonic or even shrimps on the barbie.
And with their previous collaborations being 3 Tiny Gods and Stumpy McDoodles (one of this Wombat’s favourite ever games), we are very pleased to see they’ve teamed up once again.
This awesome game comes with a jackpot wheel and 2x bonus features so there is plenty to get excited about – including a top win of 10,000x your stake.

Look and Feel
Loud and proud is how we’d describe the graphics in this game.
At the bottom of the screen you’ll find 3 reels, while on top if it you’ll see a great big ruddy bonus wheel that contains cash prizes, multipliers and jackpots! You’ll also find the pay-table and those all-important jackpot values to the left and right. It’s even simpler then the Mystery Bells slot machine from Skywind.
The spin soundtrack is a catchy drum heavy number, and you’ll also be treated to the sound chips clattering, and shouts of joy from a whole load of happy slot punters.
In fact we’re pretty sure the game is set in a casino! The purple and blue slot machines in the background are a bit of a give away…
There’s also a cheesy game show host that will announce your ‘big wins’ – or tell you to ‘spin baby, spin.’ We’re not so keen on this guy…
Foxpot comes with 3 reels, 1 row and 1 pay line. That’s 9 less than even Skywind’s Super Lion slot. Yes this does sound a bit on the basic side – but don’t panic; it is much more sophisticated than it looks (not unlike me). The trend in slots seems to be either lots of features or back to basics (like 6 Tokens of Gold for example). Foxpot seems to have found a middle way.
To make your wins, you must match up any 3 symbols. There is also a 4th reel that contains multipliers, but a bit more on that below. The bet range here is not the biggest we have ever seen, with wagers starting at 0.20 credits and going up to a maximum bet of 25.00 per spin.
Let’s move on to the reel symbols: Your high value symbols are the purple lucky 7s in single, doubles or triple form, as well as watermelons, lemons, plums and cherries. Your standard fruit machine fare, really.
Land any mix of the purple 7s and you’ll net a prize of 3x your bet. Not bad Wombat Fans!
The wild icon is represented by the fox and it will substitute for all other icons on the reels to help you make extra winning combos. Good old foxes.
Finally, the scatter icon is the symbol with ‘Bonus’ on it on gold – so keep your eyes peeled for it.
Free Spins and Bonus Features
This cool little extra can be triggered at random and nudges one of the reels up or down to hit another Bonus Symbol (if you have already landed 2 of them). It can also nudge the Money Award Wheel into position which could come in very handy indeed…
Back to the 4th reel…
It features x2 and x3 win multipliers to boost your line wins – but it won’t land on every spin, just from time to time which all adds to the excitement of Foxpot.
Land any of Bonus symbols on the reels and you’ll set off the Fox Wheel feature where the chunky pays can be found.
It’s made up of 3 sections: the money wheel, the multiplier wheel and the respin wheel.
Hit 1x Bonus Symbol – you get a spin on the outer wheel which will award you a jackpot prize or a cash prize.
Hit 2x Bonus Symbols – you get a you spin of the money wheel for a plus an spin of the middle Multiplier Wheel.
Hit 3x Bonus Symbols – you get to spin on all 3 wheel sections! Here’s where the cash prizes start to add up!
You’ll be pleased to hear there’s 3 jackpots here; the Mini, Midi and Foxpot. If your bonus spin on the outer wheel lands on one of them you could take home a tidy sum! The Mini will pay out 25x your bet, the Midi is 125 x your bet and the Foxpot could scoop you 1000x your bet
And don’t forget – any jackpot wins can be multiplied (from x2 to x10) thanks to that middle multiplier reel.
The Foxpot slot is very entertaining – and not nearly as simple as it looks on first glance. Plus, even landing just one bonus symbol can give you some decent pays. If you are a fan of Megaways games and with heaps of extras this game might not appeal – but it’s most definitely worth a spin to find out…
