When I was a wee wombat, I used to love the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, so, as you can imagine, I was thrilled to get my paws on this game: the Forsaken Kingdom Slot (the Path of Valor).
This is a great looking game by those nice designers at Rabcat that’s big on graphics like the Rift slot. It’s a lovely 5 reel, 20 pay line slot with all sorts of features to get your teeth into, like the Round Table of Fortune Bonus and the free spins feature. When you compare this to a more basic slot like, say, the Eastern Dragon slot well, it’s embarrassing.

The Forsaken Kingdom slot is easier on the eye than most slots we play- the 3D graphics are superb! They have really taken a leaf out of the latest video games developer’s manual on this one. It doesn’t fail to get us in the mood.
Excalibur makes a big appearance, giving you up to 1000x times your total bet. Look out for King Arthur and the Black Knight too. We love the sound effects- crows cawing in the background and the odd knight clip-clopping past on his horse it’s all very dramatic!
Guinevere is Wild. She Stacks Up Well!
When the beautiful Guinevere appears, sit up and take notice because she’s the wild symbol. She will only show on the middle reel but she can stack and fill the whole reel with her flowing red gown. And when she does, the knight gets very excited and gives you a medieval “yeah!” along with a fist pump.
Has he got nits though? He keeps scraching the back of his head. I guess those helmets get a bit sweaty.
Forsaken Kingdom Bonus Games
There are a few instant wins you can bag in the base game. A King Arthur and Black Knight on the top row gets you a bonus prize.
That’s called the Epic Battle Bonus to you and me and a nice little animation pops up where Arthur sticks it to the Black Knight.
Arthur and Guinevere on the top row also sets off a bonus prize.
This ones called the Epic Love Bonus.
Ahhhhh, you’ll also get a mini animation of Arthur and Guinevere going all misty eyed over each other.
Free Spins Knight
3 shield scatter symbols or more trigger the free spins (between 5 and 12) is the scatter – if you get 2 of them on the same spin, you’ll get a knight on the round table meter under the reels. Once you have all 12 knights around the famous table, you’ll get into the Round Table of Fortune feature. Keep collecting those knights!

Summary
This slot is a real looker and the soundtrack is great too. The features won’t blow you away, but I found it relatively easy to get into the free spins round, compared to some other games anyway. But maybe I’m just a lucky wombat!
It’s a pretty dark game, but then that’s to get you into the Medieval mood I guess.
My favorite bit? Probably ol’ Guinnie when she stacks across the whole of the middle reel and turns the whole reel wild.
