Unfortunately, Doctor Love Scratch is no longer available for real play, but you can still play the Doctor Love slot game.
The wombat says: Remember Dr. Love Wombat fans? With his saucy nurse and eternally hapless patient? Well, the whole gang have returned (courtesy of Microgaming) and are present and correct in scratch card version of the game! Talking of Ladies’ Men, there’s also a James Dean Scratchcard if that’s more up your street.
If you don’t know who Dr. Love is (and shame on you), then let us explain. He’s a famous and handsome medical practitioner with blonde hair and a perfect smile. Winning the hearts of his fellow nurses and doctors and his patients as he goes on his hospital rounds. He kind of looks a bit like the son of the scoundrel on the Victorian Villain slot machine, but he’s more of a rogue with the ladies.
But will Dr. Love Scratch live up to its slot namesake? Let’s see…
Look and Feel
As this is the adaptation of the slot game, Dr. Love Scratch game doesn’t set the world on fire when it comes to the looks and feel compared to games like this Iron Dog roulette and some of our slots from NetEnt. The graphics are made up of the same garish cartoon animations that you’ll find in the original. Your symbols that you’ll find in Doctor Love Scratch are made up of an inventory of everything you’d expect in a heartbreak hospital: teddy bears, flowers, ambulances, medical charts, crutches, stethoscopes and some love medication. There’s also the hot nurse, and Doctor Love himself, and the love-o-meter which is the highest value symbol. Keep your eyes peeled for this one!
Scratch card gaming is a ye old gambling technique: Dr. Love Scratch game has 9 cards in a 3 x 3 row and each of the card hides something behind it. The background of this stack is Dr. Love himself standing next to the hot nurse. The aim of the game is to make as many winning combos as you can from the symbols hidden behind the cards (remember Wombat Fans there are no pay lines involved!)
To get started play, you’ll need to fix their bets (the slofer s to the rgt fo ytour sreen) and then hit the play button. Yu can players can either click each card to reveal what’s behind them, or if you need to get a move on, opt for the ‘Reveal All’ option. This cool little feature will flip all the cards over at the same time, so you can see which wins you have sccoped. Happy Days!
You can get more info on the winning combination in the payout tab, and there’s also an Auto Play option, if you want to pop off and make yourself a cup of tea (which is how this Wombat likes to play) then you can.
Sadly for us, there are no cheeky little extras in Doctor Love Scratch. But don’t panic Wombat Fans, as this is the norm in Scratch Games. And besides, the jackpot in this game is a very chunky 250,000 coins, so you can’t really complain.
If you’re a fan of scratch cards you’ll like this cheeky little game. But my wombat sense tells me that the return to player is a bit lower here than in some other scratch card games, so tread carefully with your moolah!
Wombat score: 3/5.
This scratch card is no longer available at Wombat Casino. Sorry about that chaps! Why not try one of our other scratch cards instead?
