The wombat says: What’s all this then? A funny looking new thing called the Odd One In game from 1×2 Gaming, that’s what. And it comes with some very unusual game-play too; that’s half table card game (let’s say Blackjack Gold Multi-Hand for instance) and half roulette wheel.
The Odd One In game is played out using a standard deck of cards (you need to bet on the outcome of a two card deal – but it has to be an odd number) and your wagers are on the numbers are similar to those found on the roulette wheel… And just like in roulette your bets are placed at random. Look and Feel
Simple yet sharp design make up the graphics in this Odd One In 1X2 game, 1X2 being the game developers. Your game-play takes place in a casino on a red baize table (with the chatter of your fellow gamblers behind you). Your game table has the betting chips below it, an options bar at the bottom plus the pay-table printed on it too. There’s also a handy Bet History setting so you can see how you have fared in your wagers and wins so far.
Game Play
The aim of the game is in the name! You’ll be betting on the total of two cards drawn, and all the wager options are all based on odd numbers. In fact, there aren’t actually any even number options available Wombat Fans. So, here’s what you’ve got from the payouts:
The top row of bets is made up of small and big numbers, plus odd number and numbers combined with the 4 suits.
The middle row is made up of doubles, so 3 & 5, 5 & 7, etc.
And the bottom row is for the high rollers and big spenders among you, and offers options for betting on single numbers; the highest payout is here – 75/1 for the number ‘3’.
Select your bet level from the brightly-coloured chips at the bottom of your screen ( bets start at £0.10 and go all the way up to £200.00 – so there’s something for everyone). Now it’s time to decide e where you want place you chip (based on skill, or a heavy dollop of luck) then click Deal.
Next, 2 cards will be drawn and turned over, revealing your total (fanfare please). If it matches any of the bets that you have placed on the table, then you win. And that’s it! Check out the pay-table for more details.

If you feel like gaming on the move Wombat Fans, you’ll be gutted to learn that Odd One In is not available on smartphone and tablet devices as it has not yet been developed for iOS or Android platforms. We are working on it! For now, this is a desktops and laptops only game. I know! So noughties!
