Viking Wilds is a game from Iron Dog Studio, so far so good, but strewth is it just me or are there a load of muscular Vikings coming out of the woodwork? Look and Feel
For this lover of warmer climes, this icy-themed epic had me chucking on my best coat and horned helmet. This slot took me to the far North for Viking escapades, far away from my natural stomping ground!
This game is played out in an icy scene with Viking longboats behind the reels. Overseeing your gaming is an obscenely muscular vision of Viking health, a blondie warrior or maybe a god, standing next to the reels to guide your gaming. The Vikings were great warriors and it’s a clutch of their weapons that fill the reels as well as battle standards.
You’ll spot a traditional battle axe, a shield, a helmet and a worryingly big war hammer (the Viking weapon of choice). The three standards come in different colours and each has a strange Nordic icon which is a key on them. The red standard gives you x 5 your wager win, if you land five on an active payline. The lower value icons are the dolled-up Ace through Jack of the card deck.
This game comes with three different Wilds, I’m sure you’ve noticed the clue in the slot’s name! Each of the Wilds brings a Norse key with them which can trigger the bonus games.
First up there’s a regular Wild in a blue shield which will land on reels 2-5. The Expanding Wild comes on a red shield and arrives on reels 2-5 also and when it arrives it usefully expands to cover a whole reel.
Now focus, there is also Sticky Wild in a golden shield with a “w” in red and which only lands on the middle reel.
A word for Wombat Fans on this game’s clever mechanics. When you make a win, the winning icons will “tumble” down the reels to reveal new icons beneath, so there’s a two-win potential from a single win.

Conclusion
