The Wombat says: Arcader is an old school slot created by Thunderkick (the Swedish game studio behind the innovative Sunset Delight slot) with an awesome theme: arcade space games meets old fashioned fruit machines! Look and Feel
The graphics are pretty much what you’d expect from an arcade game mixed with a fruit machine- it’s about as far away from a character game like the Robyn slot as you can get.
The symbols are made up of big pixels all set on a backdrop of space with planets, asteroids, and a dark starry sky, while the reels are precariously perched on what looks like the moon’s craters. It’s very nice indeed. We love the retro soundtrack too.
Arcader Slot Game Play
Arcader slot has 5 reels, 3 rows and 15 paylines. Your pixellated symbols spin on black columns and are made up of traditional fruitie icons including cherries, oranges, plums, lemons, watermelons, bells, lucky sevens and bars.
Then there’s the special symbols. The ‘W’ is a wild, an arrow is the expander and there are 2 scatters in the slot; ‘B’ and ‘M’ – which will set off 2 special features.
The Expander
The Expander symbol is a handy little critter, and will cover the reel it lands on, replacing all the symbols on that reel with the symbol that gives you the best chance of a win. Meaning you can potentially get a whole reel of the same symbol which = some very big cash payouts!
Mystery Bonus
The big old white ‘M’ symbols with is the mystery symbol – land 3x or more of these to start playing the Mystery Bonus feature. It’s a standard pick ‘em game, where the more matching symbols you find, the bigger multipliers you’ll get. 3x will give you a 1x multiplier, 4x symbols will scoop you a 2x multiplier, and 5x matching symbols will add a 6x multiplier to all your wins. Nice! The game ends when you find a red X. Boo.
Arcader Slot Free Spins
This is where the moneys at Wombat Fans! And there’s some sticky wilds on offer, too. Land 3x or more of the white ‘B’ symbols, with you’ll trigger off the bonus, where 9 Free Spins will be yours. The more Scatter Symbols that set off the game in the first place, the bigger the multiplier you’ll get.
At the start of each Free Spin, one place on the middle 3 reels will get zapped by a laser, and a Sticky Wild will be added, it will stick in place through the remainder of the spins. This means you’ll scoop a total of 9 Wilds throughout the bonus giving you more 3x, 4x and 5x of a kind wins. Yay!
