Moon Temple
Unfortunately, Moon Temple slot is no longer available to play at Wombat Casino. Why not try Shaman’s Dream slot from Eyecon instead?
The wombat says: Pay your respects at the Moon Temple Wombat fans. We weren’t quite sure what the temple actually was, but after a bit of quick Googling this wombat discovered it was an important ceremonial Inca shrine located near the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru. The feel of the game reminds us of the Adventure Palace slot – except that one is all about animals and jungles.
The temple still exists, and is made up of many caves. It has big old cracks in the walls too, to let in sunlight (or in this case moonlight) that strikes the altars inside on full moons. Historians aren’t too sure how old the temple is, or exactly how long it served as a place of worship, but they do know it was very sacred. Sounds a bit like Uluru to me, but anyway…
So what do WE know about Moon Temple slot, then? For starters, this is a NextGen creation- those people behind games like the Psycho slot machine and Foxin’ Wins.
In Moon Temple, the high priestess is bit of a looker, despite wearing the weird headdress, and we know that this mystical slot from Lightning Box Games has an unusual lay out – with its 6 reels, 5 rows and 80 paylines. So, let’s all pray together for some quick wins and top cash prizes, and may the Moon be on our side! There’s plenty of gold to be won – you can also try the Gold Factory slot machine if you like the yellow stuff!
A rocky temple is the backdrop to your reels, along with a big canyon and the full moon itself – against the bright red night sky. And very nice it is too. Meanwhile, your mystical symbols in the game include; a tribal necklace, an Aztec lizard perched on a branch, an ancient gold cold, a fragile butterfly and a scary-looking panther. Joining them on the reels are the 9, 10, J, Q & K playing cards which make up your low value symbols.
The Priestess is the game’s Wild and will substitute for all other symbols except the Scatter, but the Black Panther symbol also turns Wild during the Free Spins Bonus (but more on that later). Both wilds can land as stacked during that round.
Your Scatter is the blue gleaming Moon Temple. Land 3x or more of these beauties along with a bolt of dramatic lightning and you will trigger the Collection Games feature – which will bag you 8 Free Spins. OK, it sounds a bit uninspiring, but don’t worry, there are some added extras on offer to sweeten the deal!
Collect as many Moon Spins (+1 symbols) as possible during the spins to earn even more free games in Stage 2. Here, the Panther Wilds will come into play, and will stack along the reels with Priestess Wilds to give you many more possible combos.
Aside from the extra Panther Wild, if the Scatter symbol lands anywhere on the reels during the Collection Games round, you’ll also get an extra spin added to your tally – and there’s a total of 48 on offer. The only downside is that there is no re-triggering the free spins. Boo!
Not a bad slot this one. The 2-stage Free Spins is a nice idea, but we can’t help thinking that the game is missing the kind of extra features you find in most of today’s newer slots. The theme is pretty left-field- that’s OK with me! If you fancy a change from the luck o’ the Irish slots, it makes a change.
A nice game this – we like the asymmetric reels.
