Game Play
The aim of the game is to match 3x or more germs in a row on a purple 6×6 grid. Quite a difference from games like the Leagues of Fortune slot, eh? The symbols are made up of a whole gang of germs: the yellow bacteria boss is the highest-paying with x10 the bet, then there’s the ghastly green bug, which pays x2, followed by the blue microbe paying x1 your bet. There are no Wilds in this slot (which we find a bit of a downer), but then there’s plenty of other action, with winning combinations exploding and new symbols replacing them, so you won’t get to miss them too much. As you spin away the goofy-looking germs will sneeze and cough, which put a smile on this wombat’s grumpy face.
Germinator Bonus Extra
The bonus round in Germinator is called the Medi-Bonus and you can trigger it off by lining up 3x or more of the Capsule symbols anywhere on the reels.
Once the round has started, you’ll need to pick one germ to remove from the reels. Be sure to have a good look at the overall germ situation and pick wisely, as it will have a big effect on the size of your wins. The bonus round can also be re-triggered if another 3x capsules land again.

Conclusion
Germinator is an entertaining game and makes a nice change from the usual 5 Reels/ 25 paylines format. And it’s actually ruddy awesome to wipe out those nasty germs. That said, my wombat sense tells me that this slot is a little on the low variance side. Which means you’ll scoop wins quite frequently, but the cash amounts that you’ll take home will be on the mean side – so don’t expect to pick up mega chunky payouts. This slot is more about having some fun without risking too much of your bankroll.
