Intro
So what’s the deal here? Well, 5 of the coolest animal crooks team up with Mr Lake at the helm (who is an elk of course) to try and rescue a kidnapped monkey and pull off a heist at the same time.
The plan is to raid nasty Mr. Romano’s tower and get their paws on his enormous fortune. And we are talking slick animations here in Lake’s Five, none of your basic cartoons you might have seen in the likes of Fluffy Too or Top Cat. This one is top quality!
Basically, the Lake’s Five slot is a lot like the movie Ocean’s Eleven, but with a whole bunch of furry creatures instead of George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Lake’s Five need your help (and so does that poor monkey), so let’s get spinning!
Look and Feel
Just like ELK Studios previous releases, the design in this slot is top notch. It’s a cut above more traditional games like the Wild’s Deluxe slot on the design front (which is not to say that we don’t enjoy a more basic game).
All of the animal characters have been rendered as visually stunning 3D animations and the transparent reels are set against a cool cityscape at night. The target of the heist, Mr Ronaldo’s tower looms in the background and your soundtrack is 1970s disco, with the odd cars speeding around the city. Cool!
There’s Elmer the Elephant, Pete the Parrot, Alf the Aligator, Mike the Monkey and Genie the Goldish. Oh and Mr Lake of course, don’t forget the Elk.
Lake’s Five Slot Game Play
Your symbols on the reels include; include bowls overflowing with diamonds and red first aid bags as your low value symbols, while beastly crooks, the Elephant, the Alligator, the Monkey, the Parrot and the blonde lady Goldfish represent the high value icons.
The Goldfish is the most lucrative symbol in the game, and will pay out a cheeky 50x the stake for 5 in a line. Mr. Lake is Wild symbol in this slot and will substitute for all other symbols on the reels (except for the Scatter and Bonus key) to help you make winning combos.

Heist Bonus Game

Betting Strategies

Jumper: After a win the bet level will increase by x1, up to 4 levels above the original bet (that means x10). After a losing spin the bet level will reset. So for example if your original bet is 0.15 per spin, in case of 4 consecutive wins the bet will go to 0.30, 0.60, 0.90, up to 1.50 (in your local currency if available).
Booster: This is the opposite of Jumper. The bet level will increase by x1 after each loosing spin, up to 4 levels. After a winning spin the bet level will reset.
Leveller: The bet level will increase by x2 after 5 consecutive losing spins. It can happen twice. A winning round will reset to basic level.
